Throw overboard Liferaft , stowed in rigid fibreglass container as per attached drawing and approved by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and the relevant flag state approval. Will be delivered complete with emergency pack SOLAS A or B. Throw overboard liferaft is released from its cradle and thrown overboard, or slides automatically when released. Once waterborne the liferaft inflates on a hard pull of the painter line and is then ready for boarding.
Davit Launched Liferaft , stowed in rigid fibreglass container as per attached drawing and approved by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and the relevant flag state approval. Will be delivered complete with emergency pack SOLAS A pack. The 12 persons davit launched life raft is mainly used on commercial vessels, passenger vessels and offshore installations. The davit launched liferaft is to be connected to the davit and then inflated at deck level, thus enabling the passengers to board the liferaft from deck. The liferaft is then launched to the water.
Self-Righting Liferaft , can turn over itself if it is launched in an upside down position. At times before gaining stability due to ballast bags being empty, an inflatable life raft tends to roll over to an inverted position. Will be delivered complete with emergency pack SOLAS A pack.
Open Reversible Liferaft is intended for shipwrecked persons likely to be exposed to bad weather conditions only for a short period before being located and picked up. Being fully reversible, this type of liferaft can be used either way up, its floor being placed in between the two buoyancy chambers. The open reversible liferaft is released from its cradle and thrown overboard, or slides automatically when released. Once waterborne the liferaft inflates on a hard pull of the painter line and is then ready for boarding.
Leisure Liferaft, ISO 9650-1 is accepted liferafts are intended for small crafts used for leisure activities. Available in capacities of 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 persons. Two kinds of packing for choices: canister and valise.
